Accession consists predominantly of photographs related to Hay's time of service during WWII. The photographs capture the activities of R.C.A.F. No. 403 (Wolf) Squadron in action in different areas of the war, including Belgium, Holland, France, and England. Of particular interest are images taken during Operation Overlord depicting Caen, France, and the Juno Beach landing. Most of the photographs are originals; roughly half of them are captioned.
Also includes a small amount of clippings, and military service records.
Hay, Allan FrazerFonds consists of material related to the wartime experiences of Angus Lott, from the time of his training through to the period just following the end of WWII. This fonds is notable for its large, well captioned set of aerial photography taken by Lott's crews during the final years of the war. Photographs in this sub-series show the condition of numerous key cities and rural locations in Europe and are well explained by Lott's careful captions. Fonds is divided into three series:

Consists of 25 files of negatives and prints capturing a variety of military activities during WWI through to the late 1960's. WWI material is field, later images are predominantly domestic, likely Calgary, images of parades and unit gatherings. The exception to this is a small set of photographs from the Namange River, Kenya, area.
Predominant unit focus is for the Queen's Own Rifles and the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry.

The Bob Bergen Fonds consists of materials gathered by Bergen in his capacity as a staff writer for the Calgary Herald. In particular, the fonds contains the results of several Access to Information Act requests made by Bergen in the late 1990’s regarding the closure of CFB Calgary in 1998 and the deaths of Canadian Forces members Neil McKinnon and Rick Wheeler during training exercises at CFB Suffield in April, 1992 and March, 1995 respectively.

Also includes a set of field message books with carbons intact that record Gidley's wartime communications with other officers. Materials were originally created and gathered by Gidley in his capacity as commanding officer of the 19th Battalion, B Company. Fonds has been divided into three series: Maps, Field Notebooks, and Miscellaneous.
Henderson, Charles ArnoldFonds consists of one panoramic photograph of Vimy Ridge on linen backing. Photograph appears to be intelligence gathered in advance of the battle April, 1917. Also includes one card detailing a Christmas dinner for the Canadian Corps Survey Section, 1918. Card is signed by attendees. Both items were likely produced or co-produced by Loney.
Loney, Charles WilliamFonds consists of various materials and documents pertaining to Crosse’s military career, as well as his pre and postwar activities, such as his leadership role in the Boy Scouts and his active participation as a member of the Anglican Church. The majority of the fonds consists of personal and professional correspondence (60%), whereas the rest of the collection predominately consists of newspaper clippings (scrap book), loose notes, and miscellaneous personal documents. The fonds also contains a single colour slide.
