Biographical history
Albert Robert Meers served in the Royal Canadian Navy in World War II on the HMCS Assiniboine, the HMCS Thetford Mines and the HMCS Fort Frances. Born in 1918, Albert Meers passed away in Nanoose Bay, B.C. at the age of 94 on February 5, 2012. He lived, worked and raised his family in Edmonton, Alberta before moving to the coast to retire.
Archival history
Material donated to NMA in April 2017 - received at time by "B. Connolly". Donor name was David Fawcett. Material transferred, unprocessed to TMMLA in 2019.
