Fonds consists of the records of the Naval Association of Canada from the time of its conception through to current date. Records are predominantly textual with some interspersing of photographs. Palmer, John Edmour "Ned"The fonds consists of correspondence, reports, lists, and pamphlets regarding Dutch emigration to Canada and other countries, including correspondence from and about individual emigrants. Much of the material came from the Canadian offices of Nederlandse Emigratie Dienst. The material was used as one of the sources of Herman Ganzevoort's dissertation and his book A Bittersweet Land (Toronto: McClelland and Stewart, 1988).
