Biographical history
Neils Olsen, 1875-1925, was born in Sweden and emigrated to Canada about 1893 to work at the Bar U Ranch in southern Alberta. He later became manager, a position he held till his death. He married Elise ?, ?-1925, and they had four children, Albert, 1912- , Emil, Ruth (McGregor), and Irene, 1920- . After Neils and Elise died, the children were raised by Mrs. W. Buchanan of High River.
