The conference was to celebrate my 50th birthday and was held in November 1988; It was attended by among others the following writers and critics: Clark Blaise, Hugh Hood, Keath Fraser, Alice Munro, Leon Rooke, Dayv James-French, Ray Smith, Doug Glover, Kim McKendrick, Constance "Connie" Rooke, Tim Struthers, Sam Tata, Geoff Hancock, W.J. Keith, Kent Thompson, Michael Darling. Most of the photographs are by Sam Tata and all are unpublished.

John McCrae who wrote the poem In Flanders Fields, and who was a great uncle of Kilgour's.

Duncan, Superintendent of Buildings and Grounds 1966-1989.
