              The series consists of scribblers in which Hugh Wearmouth kept personal (household) accounts, and ranch accounts for the Towers and Wearmouth Ranch. The personal accounts include categories for groceries, doctor and medical, hardware, clothes, charities, telephone and car expenses. The ranch accounts include categories for feed grain, veterinarian fees, fertilizer, machinery, gas and oil, hardware, building upkeep, bunk house, wages for hired hands, and livestock bought and sold.
