Collection consists of records created or maintained by Ivan Robison as a member of the Alberta provincial government’s Royal Commission on the Metropolitan Development of Calgary and Edmonton, also known as the McNally Commission. The commission met in Calgary from late 1954 to 1955 and produced a final report in 1956. Other members of the commission were George Fred McNally (Chairman), G.M. Blackstock, Charles P. Hayes, Percy G. Davies, H.B. Mayo (Consulting Economist), and William McGruther (Secretary). The collection consists of all 47 volumes of proceedings, the exhibits, briefs to the commission, and the final report. Also included are Robison’s notes and numerous related reports, including:
