Biographical history
Pansy Louise Pue, 1888-1980, was born in Bensfort, Ontario. She came to Calgary, Alberta in 1920 and finished high school. In 1929 she became the second woman in Calgary to be elected to city council, a position she held for three years. She was active in the women's reform movement, a founding member of the Canadian Federation of Business and Professional Women's Club, Calgary Local, and an honorary life member of the Progressive Conservative Women of Calgary. In 1975 she moved to Burnaby, British Columbia.
