John McDougall's records consist of appointments; letters written to his wife while attending Methodist conferences and during the 1885 Riel Rebellion; official correspondence regarding his missionary work; mission administrative records including baptism and marriage registers; and his writings, sermons and talks. The fonds also contains the writings, speeches, and scrapbooks of John's wife Elizabeth, and the First World War letters of David L. McDougall.
