Jackson, Hansel Gordon "Happy Jack"Consists of a bound book of original letters and telegrams solicited by the Vancouver Sun on the occasion of the Sun presenting a painting of President Warren G. Harding in Stanley Park, Vancouver on July 26th, 1923. Harding's visit was the first visit of an American President to Canada. The letters and telegrams are expressions of goodwill between the two countries for friendship and peace.
The letters and telegrams received by the Vancouver Sun are from the Prime Minister of Canada (William Lyon Mackenzie King), governors of states, premiers of provinces, American and Canadian newspapers and universities.
The fonds consists of three versions of a silent, color film of the Hardisty Stampede, possibly in 1955, including footage of the rodeo events, herding cattle, the parade through the town, midway rides, and fireworks.

Hanen, Harold ArnoldBox 1 consists of records donated by Horne's family to complement Harold Horne's donation of his Einstein correspondence from the 1940s (MsC 107). Records consist of typed and handwritten manuscripts on physics phenomena, correspondence with scientists and hobbyists and an invitation by the University of Calgary to attend the opening of the library tower in 1973; newspaper clippings on Horne's activities, his published angler's tide table, and his funeral notice.
Box 2 contains the records from the original MsC 107 and consists of an undated scientific paper with parts titled "The Theory of the Living Earth," and "The Oxygen Theory of Angling," letters dated April 24-July 28 1943 from Albert Einstein discussing Horne's scientific theories, news clippings about Einstein, and a biographical article about Harold Horne.
