Biographical history
Frank Llewellyn Thorn, 1898-1980, was born in North Dakota, USA and came with his family to Red Deer, Alberta in 1907. In 1920 he moved to Wetaskiwin where he worked as a painter and interior decorator. He became interested in the Social Credit movement in the early 1930s and was active in party affairs for many years at the federal and provincial level. He was musical and for a time lead an orchestra.
