Views include convocation ceremony in progress; conferring of honorary degrees upon Mario Bernardi, John Browning, Martin Connell, Theodore Rozsa, Peter Russell, and Margaret Southern; honorees with their families and university officials; President Emeritus Norman Wagner with his wife and graduating daughter (in gown); Ken Stephenson graduating with his daughter: Chancellor James Palmer with emeritus chancellors; Dr. Challice with the mace; and views of the auditorium.

Honorees were: Dr. Donald L. McNeil, Maxwell Ward and Marshall Mackenzie Williams

File consists of photographs of a new table, hand made by John Morel, to hold the mace during convocation ceremonies. The table has the university crest inlaid in wood on the front, and was a gift of Chancellor Emeritus James Palmer to the University.
