The Canadian Western Agribition agricultural exhibition had its first show in the fall of 1971. The Agribition attracted exhibitors from throughout North America. In 1977 the Agribition was held with Prince Phillip in attendance helping establish the Regina Agribition as a major livestock exhibition across Canada and throughout the world.
