Canadian composer and educator Wolfgang Heinz Otto Bottenberg was born in Frankfurt-am-Main, Germany, on May 9, 1930. He came to Canada in 1958. Biographical information available in Encyclopedia of music in Canada. 2nd ed., p. 140-141.
