Richard Bernard Sullivan, 1880-1966, was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and came to Calgary, Alberta with the Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) in 1908. He was a steam shovel engineer for 40 years and retired in 1946. He and his wife, Margaret Mary Sullivan, ?-1957, had two daughters, Mother Mary Aquinas and Bernadette, and one son, Eugene.
