The Rocky Mountain Echo began publication on August 15, 1900, under publisher, E.T. Saunders. In 1906 the name was changed to Pincher Creek Echo. The business did general printing jobs for the Pincher Creek area of Alberta, as well as publish the newspaper.

The fonds consists of examples of printing jobs undertaken (1925-1949) including Town of Pincher Creek auditor's financial statements (1927, 1933, 1938-1941), programs and tickets for theatre and music events, menus and advertiques, church pamphlets, and miscellany. Also includes photographs of the Pincher Creek area (1897-1908).
