Scope and content

Sub-series consists of photographs documenting Mann’s architectural and design projects. The records primarily span the periods Mann was active as an architect during the 1960s and between 1997 and 2015. The photographs document Mann’s projects from the 1960s such as Eijgel Residence, Clark Residence, Engineers’ Club, Killarney Community Centre, Jankola Residence, Mountain Village, Mann Residence, Ozard Residence, and the Ralph Residence, as well as major later career projects such as Allard Residence Salt Spring, Posts Standing (Ramus Residence), the Totems, Quietude Residence, Manndala (Architect’s Residence), Night Owl (Bridgeman Residence), Salix (Straw Bale House), and the West Residence. The sub-series includes numerous photographs of Mann’s projects by the celebrated Canadian West Coast architectural photographer Selwyn Pullan.
