Part of Tom Brown Tivey collection
Consists of handwritten and typescript correspondence that Tivey sent home to his parents during his stay in central and northern Alberta from 1921-1930. The correspondence details his working life at the Alberta & Great Waterways Railway and as a labourer, and later his enrollment in the Edmonton Normal School. The letters also describe his teaching positions in towns including Vegreville, Hay Lakes, Chipman, Two Hills and Dunvegan.
