Jones & Kirkland Architects (1983-1988) was established by Edward Jones (1939-) and Michael Kirkland (1943-). The Toronto-based firm designed the acclaimed Mississauga Civic Centre, which opened in 1987 and won the Governor General’s Award of Merit in 1990 as one of Canada’s iconic postmodern buildings.

Consists of 47 architectural drawings by Jones & Kirkland Architects for their acclaimed postmodern project, the Mississauga Civic Centre. The drawings are preliminary presentation drawings, design development drawings, and perspectives, likely from ca. 1982 for the design competition. The drawings are all reprographic copies.
