James H. Mills was involved in the real estate business in Calgary, Alberta, ca. 1910-1913, with various people including Charles Harris, William T. Guild, John Cuthill and A. Routley. He was a member of the Amalgamated Sheet Metal Workers International, Local 254 in Calgary and Ashlar Lodge No. 28 (possibly of the masons).
