One small appendix (MsC 275) consists of material relating to Lois Kerr's memorial service and burial: a compact disc recording of a special arrangement of L. Kerr's song "Woods are full of violets" sung and recorded by David Kerr; programme of the service, December 16, 2001; texts of "Words of Remembrance" by L. Kerr's three sons; signatures of guests; and letters of condolence.

Includes personal papers as well as records relating to his parliamentary responsibilities, records pertaining to Kilgour's activities vis a vis External Affairs (re US, Ukraine, Uganda, Turkey, Tibet, Sudan, Vietnam and USSR), Soviet Jewry, human Rights, Trips to Berne and the USSR); and personal records relating to the Liberal Party of Canada, fundraising, official opposition, and the national and northern/western caucus, daily journals which provide details of his daily activity, his reflections on events, and clippings related to his interests and current events, as well as a file on Col. John McCrae who wrote the poem In Flanders Fields, and who was a great uncle of Kilgour's.

The fonds consists of diaries, correspondence and personal papers of Anne, Mary, Hilda, Evelyn and Gladys. Much of the correspondence is between the sisters, and includes letters they received from the sixth sister, Ellen. The diaries are rich in reflections on their spiritual lives as well as their day-to-day activities. The records relate primarily to their personal relationships, and are strong in documenting sisterhood, lives of unmarried women, and old age.

Anne's papers in include her first "book of cases" as a nurse. The papers of Mary, Hilda, Evelyn and Gladys all include details of their teaching careers. The papers of Evelyn and Gladys include details of their Moral Re-Armament activities, and manuscripts of their short fiction and biographies.

The fonds also includes photographs of all six sisters, their parents, homes, cats and friends. The notebooks of the nurses who cared for Evelyn and Gladys during the final years of their lives are also present.

Fonds also includes copies of H. Stallworthy's R.C.M.P. service and medical files obtained from the R.C.M.P. Archives in Ottawa, Ontario, by William Barr as additional sources for his biography Red serge and polar bear pants : the biography of Harry Stallworthy, RCMP (Edmonton : The University of Alberta Press, 2004).
