        George Heaton, 1861-1945, was born in Birmingham, England, came to Canada in 1887, and settled near Pincher Creek, Alberta. In 1891 he married Amy Miles, 1863-1951, originally from Ireland, and they had two children, George Falconer, 1903-1966, and Lorna (Cox), 1986-1973. He established the Park Ranch in the Maycroft district, and ranched there until he retired to Pincher Creek in 1942. On his death his son took over the ranch.
