Subseries consists of project files documenting the work of Arthur Erickson between 1953 and 1975. The files contain correspondence, sketches, specifications, minutes, notes, reports, proposals, memos, financial records, and other documents. The subseries documents over 250 of Erickson's projects, both built and unbuilt. The projects that are most extensively documented include the Expo 67 projects, the MacMillan Bloedel Building, Dept. of Foreign Affairs Official Residence in Canberra Australia, Simon Fraser University, Expo 70 Canadian Pavilion, the University of Victoria projects, the University of Lethbridge, Village Lake Louise, Computer Centre, and the West Seattle Freeway Project. The projects are arranged by project number and in rough chronological order.
