Biographical history
Norah Frances Coles trained as a nurse at the Calgary General Hospital School of Nursing in Calgary, Alberta between 1922 and 1925. She married Herbert James Buckmaster, 1892-1979, a commercial traveler for Beatty Brothers, a manufacturer of farm equipment. They had a son, Harvey, 1929-2018, who attended Camp Chief Hector, Alberta from 1939-1945 and was a cadet at Central High School, Calgary, Alberta in the 1940s. He became a professor of physics at the University of Calgary from 1960-1993.
