Note
Archie Key came to Canada from England in [ca. 1900]. He came west with the railway construction in 1911. In the early 1920s he married his wife Mary. He was awarded the Order of Canada in 1978 for services to the arts. Since 1925 he has worked in various parts of Canada as editor, as actor, playwright and director, as member of arts councils and museum organizations and as consultant in art purchases.
