John Dickson Whetham, 1886-1969, was born in Ontario and came to Calgary in 1909. He practiced law and received a QC. He was secretary of Westfield Oils and Waite Valley Holdings, and invested in various Alberta oil companies. He and his wife, Cora Edna, ?-1958, had one son, Donald James, 1918-1995.
