The Series consists of records relating to the introduction, development and administration of the Western Canada Concept Party in Alberta, including the drafting of bylaws and policies, records from annual conventions and Board meetings, administration of party constituencies, campaign records and publicity materials. The majority of the records chart Dr. Marshall's involvement in the development of the party from Gordon Kesler's surprise win in the Olds- Didsbury provincial by-election through Dr. Marshall's bid for leadership of the party and other provincial and federal campaigns to its eventual splintering into the Western Independence Party.
