        Charles S.S. Watson, [?-ca. 1948] was born in England and served in the South African War. He came to Calgary, Alberta in about 1911 and worked for the Royal Insurance Company. He enlisted in the Corps of Guides in 1914 and served overseas, possibly with the Army Service Corps. During the First World War he rose to the rank of captain. He and his wife, Constance, remained in England after the war.
