Biographical history
Sinclair Budd, 1896-?, was the son of William J. and Lizzie Budd. He had two siblings, Gertrude and Cecil. In 1917 Sinclair and Cecil went to army training camp in Toronto. He was able to obtain a military exemption in 1918 and enrolled in Arts at the University of Alberta. He began law school in 1922 and graduated the following year. He articled with Peacock and Skene in 1923-1924.

These records were found in a duplex on Crescent Road formerly occupied by the family of James R. Davidson, a law school friend of Sinclair Budd. The house was bought by Earl D. Campbell and shared by his brother and sister-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. J.D. Campbell, donors.The file at M-155-25 was acquired by the University of Calgary Law Library from an unknown source.
