      Lillian E. Hanna, 1906-1997, was born in the Wetaskiwin area of Alberta. She graduated from the Calgary General Hospital School of Nursing in 1928. From 1936 to 1938 she nursed Mr. and Mrs. Terrill, who lived in a suite on the 9th floor of the Palliser Hotel in Calgary. She married Thomas W. Valentine, ?-1945. From 1954 to 1958 she ran a registry for nurses called the Community Nursing Bureau. They had two children, Patricia and Rolly. In 1958 she became an instructor at the School for Nursing Aides in Calgary. She taught there for 13 years.
