Albert Joseph "Bert" Turner, 1921-2018, was born and raised in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan and served in the Royal Canadian Air Force in the Second World War. He married Lil Rankin, ?-2012, in 1944 and they moved to Calgary in 1950 where Bert worked at Eaton's. He was very active in veteran and sports organizations. He and Lil had two children, Lorne and Janis.
