Note
First mooted in 1790. Barbara Heck, founder of Methodism in Upper Canada, is buried here. The church was rebuilt in its present form in 1845, and is now an Anglican church. In 1809 the frame church was built, subscriptions inadequate in 1804 but the Anglicans of Augusta and Elizabethtown built the church and it opened in 1826. Consecrated and then taken down in 1840.
