History
Lucy Krem, 1907-1979, was born in London, England and came with her family to Calgary, Alberta in 1910. She attended the Calgary Normal School and began her teaching career at Meadow Creek School near Claresholm. She taught at various other locations in southern Alberta and in Calgary before retiring in 1973. She and her husband Donald Swain, ?-1969, had one daughter, Dawn.
