Biographical history
Sun Ergos, a company of theatre and dance, was established in Calgary, Alberta in 1977 by Robert Greenwood and Dana Luebke. Robert Greenwood, 1941- , was born in New Hampshire, USA. He received his MFA in acting and directing from the Yale School of Drama in 1967. From 1972 to 1976 he taught drama at the Unversity of Calgary. Dana Luebke, 1955- , was born in Minnesota, USA. He danced with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet before forming Sun Ergos. The company, based in Calgary's Scarboro Community Hall, is known for its unusual multi-media productions. It tours extensively, and has performed in Great Britain, Singapore, and Israel, as well as throughout Canada. It also gives workshops and does extensive school tours.
