Name of creator
Samuel Graham, 1898-1988, was born in County Monaghan, Ireland. He and his wife, Mary Elizabeth Graham, came to Calgary, Alberta in 1921. Graham worked for Imperial Oil, John Irwin's Grocery, Hudson's Bay Company (HBC) and Jenkins Groceteria before being hired by the Calgary Municipal Railway in 1930. He retired from Calgary Transit in 1964. He was a founding member of the Ulster Association of Calgary, and served as president for a number of years.

The fonds consists of Ulster Association constitution, membership lists, reports and newsclippings; Graham's speeches and letters pertaining to the Ulster Association; correspondence about employment with Calgary Transit; transit passes, tickets, and manuals; and miscellaneous programs, cartoons and newsclippings.
