Biographical history
E. Roy Scott Nurse, 1898-1989, was born in England and began his career with the Northern Trading Company in northern Alberta. He later worked for Canadian Utilities Ltd. and installed thermal power facilities in Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan. Roy served in the Royal Flying Corps during the First World War. He and his wife, Margaret, had a son, Eric. They retired to Victoria, British Columbia.
