Barbara Jean Reid, ca. 1926-2002, was born in Calgary and graduated as a registered nurse from the Calgary General Hospital School of Nursing in 1950. She worked in Calgary and Vancouver before marrying Frank Routledge in 1952. Frank was in the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) so the family moved many times over the years before settling back in Calgary in 1968.
