History
Andrew Ross, 1884-1971, was born in Stellarton, Nova Scotia. A machinist by trade, he worked for Alexander Graham Bell on experimental aircraft, including the Silver Dart. He moved to Calgary, Alberta in 1910 or 1911 and worked for Calgary Iron Works for many years. He fought overseas during the First World War. His wife, Margaret, predeceased him in 1956.
