Biographical history
Frozina "Rose" Ambrosy, 1891-[after 1963], was born in Bukovina, Ukraine. In 1897 she emigrated to Shandro, Alberta, where her father had taken out a homestead. In 1909 she married George Chornlesky, ?-1919, who was a farmer. They had four children, Dora, George, Stephen and William G. After her husband died in the influenza epidemic, she married Stephen Sorochan, ?-1933, and they had two children, Matt and Alexandria. She retired to Andrew, and Matt took over the family farm.
