Robert Robson and his wife, Jane, ?-1934, came from Middlesex County, Ontario to Alberta in 1902, and settled near Strome. In 1911 they moved to a farm at NW12-46-17-W4, north of, and halfway between, Daysland and Bawlf. Their son, Malcolm, 1905-?, farmed with his father. In 1937 Malcolm married Della Bowley, 1917- , and they had two sons, David, 1939- , and Scott, 1943- . In 1913 Robert was instrumental in the establishment of Scandia School District No. 2913, and served as a board member for many years. Malcolm was active on the Scandia School board from the 1930s until the school was closed in 1951. Malcolm and Della were members of the Daysland United Church and the Bawlf Curling Club. Malcolm was a councillor of the MD of Parkland, and a member of the Daysland Hospital Board. The farm was sold in 1973 and Malcolm and Della retired to Camrose.
