Scope and content
Subseries primarily consists of reports created and maintained by Lombard North Group from 1967 to 2008. The reports document LNG’s consulting services for a wide range of clients in the areas of landscape architecture, urban planning, resort development, and land planning. The subseries also includes a small volume of photographs relating to the Barclay Mall project and two 16mm film copies of 'The Bow River: A Time to Decide' from 1973. There are over 100 projects represented with detailed landscape planning reports in the subseries, including Fish Creek Provincial Park, Kananaskis Country Recreation Plan, Writing-on-Stone [Áísínai'pi] Provincial Park Upgrading, Inglewood Bird Sanctuary, Medicine Hat River Valley Park System, Lethbridge Indian Battle Park, Cypress Hills Provincial Park, Bow River Impact Study, Qu'Appelle River Valley, Waskasoo Park, Grande Prairie Regional College and Bear Creek Park, along with several golf course projects including Cherry Grove Golf and Country Club, Fish Creek Golf Course, Fox Glen Golf Course, Heavenly Pond (China), Kananaskis Ranch Golf Course, Keho Lake Golf Course, Osoyoos Golf and Country Club, Silver Springs Golf & Country Club, and Radium Hot Springs Golf Resort. The files are arranged in rough chronological order by the archivist.
