Note
File accompanied by handwritten note by Williams explaining the accumulation of works: "This batch contains pamphlets and aarticles by several world authories on Hominid Evolution, including Raymond Dart, the Leakeys, P.W. Phillipson, and Nick David. They accrued from acquaintance with Professor Philip Tobias of the University of Witwatersrand, THE world authority, who was intera lais, also a WITS graduate like myself. He used to correct and amplify my diagrams...During that time I was constantly in touch with him and my students had the latest findings hot off the press, as it were. I have kept his letters and my returned diagrams in my personal papers."
