Scope and content
Series consists of architectural drawings, notes, correspondence, minutes, specifications, reports, and photographs documenting the work of Carmen and Elin Corneil. The series documents the Corneils’ projects from 1955 to 1992. Most of the projects are located in Ontario but there are also several in Norway, Finland, Denmark, and Iceland. Among the projects documented in the series are the Carleton School of Architecture, Wayland Drew House, Expo 67 Bandshells, Girl Guides of Canada Headquarters, Vestmannaeyjar Plan and Municipal Works Projects, Wintergreen Building, Icelandic Concert House, McMullen Cottage, and OPSEU Headquarters. The projects have been arranged in rough chronological order by the archivist and the series has been divided into three subseries: 1. Drawings; 2. Files; 3. Photographs.
