History
At a meeting of Priddis, Alberta area residents on March 27, 1899, it was agreed to build a community hall. J.D. Patterson was appointed chairman of the building committee and Charles Priddis provided one acre of land on which the hall was built. The Priddis Ranchers' Society Hall, as it was originally called, was officially opened with a ball on January 17, 1900. The Hall, known simply as the Priddis Hall by 1906, was managed by elected trustees. Many events have been held in the hall including dances, club meetings, turkey dinners, badminton matches and stampede breakfasts.
