Biographical history
Peter Wallis was born in Toronto, Ontario and received a Master of Laws (Aviation, Law) from the University of London, a Bachelor of Arts from York University, and a Bachelor of Law (Law) from York University, Osgoode Hall Law School.
Wallis has held senior positions at Canadian Airlines and in Ottawa as Legal Counsel for the Canadian Transport Commission and Executive Assistant to two federal Ministers of Transport. He is past Chairman of the Calgary Airport Authority, Past President of the Calgary Chamber of Commerce and has served as President and CEO of The Van Horne Institute (1995-2017).
