History
C. Redvers Perry, 1917-2003, was born in the Nose Creek Valley west of Balzac, Alberta. He farms the land originally settled by his father in 1902. During the Second World War he served overseas with the RCAF. He is an avid local historian and has been the chief researcher and archivist for the Nose Creek Historical Society. He has also been a correspondent for district newspapers including the North Hill News, the Five Village Weekly (Irricana), and the Airdrie Echo. He wrote a regular column in the Rocky View News for the Nose Creek Farmers' Union of Alberta. He married Dorothy Kininmonth, 1921- , and they had two children, Orvilla Janet (Warner) and Redvers Neil.
