History
I. Vernon Parslow, 1889-1978, was born in Calgary, Alberta and married Florence E. Nelson, 1890-1966. They had three children, Donald, Dorothy, and William Vernon "Bud", 1919-1999. In 1915 Vernon and George Denoon established the Parslow and Denoon Livestock Commission Agents. Vernon ran this business until his retirement in 1966. He also farmed in Millarville and Priddis, Alberta between 1947 and 1965. He was a member of many associations including the Canadian National Livestock Exchange, the Calgary Livestock Exchange, the Calgary Exhibition and Stampede, the Racing Commission, the Horsemen's Association, and many community organizations.
