Biographical history
Onslow S. Wakeford lived in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan from the 1910s to 1940s. He was a clerk at the J.F. Cairns company ca. 1915, and salesperson at the Hudson's Bay Company (HBC) store from about 1928 to 1945. He may have been a member of the 105th Regiment during the First World War.

The fonds consists of photographs of Saskatchewan's inaugural celebrations in Regina including 90th Winnipeg Rifles and Royal North-West Mounted Police (RNWMP) participation (1905); Saskatoon street scenes including parades and HBC store (ca. 1910s-1940s); Assiniboia Club, Regina (nd); 103rd Calgary Rifles (ca. 1898); and 56 Battalion Regimental Band, Calgary (1916).
