        Harriet Louise Nyhoff, 1888-[after 1975], was born in Freemont, Michigan, USA. She studied dressmaking and millinery before marrying Frank Albert Nye and moving to Edmonton. She was very active in the Edmonton Women's Institute, the Home Economics Club and the Local Council of Women. She taught millinery courses for years for the Women's Home Bureau Service of the Provincial Department of Agriculture. The Nyes had two daughters.
