        Julien Nash, 1889-1983, was born in England and joined the Royal North-West Mounted Police (RNWMP) in Edmonton in 1908. He worked in many small communities in Alberta and Saskatchewan. He served in the First World War from 1915 to 1918 and joined the Alberta Provincial Police (APP) on his return. He married Alma, ?-1979, and worked for Alberta Government Telephones (AGT) in Calgary from 1920 to 1954. During the Second World War he was active with the Air Raid Precautions organization. He was very active in the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Veterans Association after 1923 and was national president from 1937 to 1949. He and his wife had two children, Ruth (Morrissette) and Donald.
